:: COOKERY SCHOOL ::Duck Under the Table is a purpose built cookery school designed to enable you to learn using domestic appliances and equipment you would have in your own home. Local and visiting chefs present classes which can be demonstration-only; hands-on; and often, a combination of both. Whether a complete novice or an experienced cook, you are sure to both enjoy and learn at Duck Under. Class Schedules: We offer classes weekdays, evenings and on weekends. Most classes run for approximately 3 hours with tastings and wine included. Please see the Schedules and Bookings page for details. Private Groups: Cookery classes are a different and fun way of bringing together friends or workmates. We are happy to schedule a class at a special time to suit private groups of 10 or more. Ducklings Under the Table. Our children’s classes, held during School Holidays, are for kids 7-10 years. They are designed to be fun… and to inspire a life-long love of cooking. Community Groups: Cookery classes can be great fund-raising events. We are always happy to help community groups:/please contact us to discuss. ·Y our place in a class is only confirmed when full payment is received. ·If you cannot attend a booked class, you may send a replacement (but please advise us beforehand) or swap for another class if that class has a vacancy. .Refunds will be given only when cancellations are made 7 days prior to a booked class. ·If a class does not reach minimum numbers or if unforeseen or exceptional circumstances arise, Duck Under the Table reserves the right to cancel or postpone any class and if this occurs, a full refund will be given and this is the limit of our liability. ·If you have any severe food allergies, you must call and discuss this with us prior to attending any class. ·It is not appropriate to bring babies or children to any adult class or workshop. ·We cannot provide personal reminders – so please put the date of your booked class in your diary. ·We cannot cater for children with food allergies or special dietary needs. ·All children must be accompanied/collected from classes by a parent or guardian.
